First they release it on this Steam thing. It freezes on loading for a ton of people. The files are corrupt or you can't freaking play single player because Steam is too busy. What if Steam goes down? What am I supposed to do? I have to have my FREAKING GAMES MAN. IT'S LIKE CRACK AND I CAN'T WAIT 24 HOURS.
Not to mention the lame enemies who shoot back at me. It takes like 7 shots to take them down and I am for the balls. I hit them so much and they won't fall. Talk about useless, the gravity gun. I can pick up a couch but I can't even toss a human? I can overturn a buggy, but I can't launch a combine soldier who looks like he ate too much for lunch?
The shadows are completely fudged, the gameplay is more of a tech demo. You have to look for a story and create your own because they skimped on creating one.
They randomly banned 20,000 users to "prevent cheating". Scam I say, they just wanna make more money and make the people rebuy it!
Counter-Strike Source isn't only lame and the same, it's not even finished. They have like 6 maps. They suckered who knows how many people into a lame half-life 1 update not to mention DoD which might not even come out forever much less be converted to Source physics and looks. Lame! Ravenholme wasn't even scary and geez, Gordon seems to be missing hands.
Not only does HL2 run well, it runs well because it looks like a 3 year old game. Geeeezzzz. Objects warp through other stuff when you pick them up. Even get close to someone else online and you experience major lag.
What a letdown. You hype this game up to give you $1 worth of entertainment and instead it just puts you to sleep.
