I got KotOR for $15 a few days ago...

Black friday is the day after thanksgiving, where everything is on sale for some weird reason.
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

Today I bought

at Office Max:
64mb SD memory card (free after rebate)
100 CD Rs (free after rebate)
100 Slimline CD cases (free after rebate)

at Best Buy:
Half-Life Platinum Collection ($9)
a 13 inch TV/DVD combo ($89 after rebates) <--- For an X-mas present for my girlfriend
a bargin DVD <---also for previously mentioned young lady


Having waited since 5:15 for them to open at 6, I was in and out of Best Buy in under 15 mins . . . can't say the same for Office Max. I got over to Office Max at about 6:20 and they opened at 7, I didn't get out of there until 8:10.


[edit]I should also mention that I hate Black Friday shoppers . . . not becuase I was competing against them, but becuase I still have to go into work at Best Buy this afternoon.

I needed to purchase a new NIC for my Win2K3 machine. I could nae find any drivers for the other NICs I had. :(

I don't like DVD boxes because it gives them an excuse to leave out a manual (no room).

Many companies are switching, but its not fully switched yet. They're all using smaller boxes now though.

Yea....I guess so. I did buy RBR and while the manual still leaves me clueless it is included and the DVD is convienently small.

I just got a Marvel Legends Silver Surfer today, no discount or anything cause it was bought just a couple hours ago. Last time I was in one of those morning black friday sales it was ridiculous.

It's not so bad because of the line, but people are rude any day of the year here. They're even worse on sale days like this. Plus stores here act like it's some big surprise that people are going to show up for the sales, they hardly have anyone working!
