What's big in America TV Drama wise?

I ask because I managed to discover Nip Tuck before it came to UK screens and Six Feet Under (fav show~!) to some extent too. Apparently there is a new show which is meant to be amazing, which a prat I know has mentioned but refuses to tell anyone.

But yeah, any new shows I should be excited about?

Can Desperate Housewives really be put into the drama category? I thought it was just a soap with more sexual overtones. I've only seen the previews and my roommate's comments so feel free to enlighten me.

It's starting here in January. There shouldn't be a midseason hiatus this time.

Is anyone else simply mad about House md? I swore I'd never watch a spin-off like that, especially from fox, but it's so addicting. :o

Boston Something something.. can't remember the name. It's basically about a law firm, and it has William S h a t ner in it. Saw it for the first time tonight and it was the most entertaining thing I've ever seen aside from The Outer Limits (best show ever).

Boston Legal. A spin-off of "The Practice" featuring only characters from the last season.

I think that Joey is surpassing the norm and becoming entirely original in it's vast storytelling and incredible character development.

But I haven't seen the show or heard anything about it for months because...I have no TV at the dorms. Just a pair of rabbet ears that barely gets me channel 9. I miss home :(.
