Anyone started their X-Mas shopping yet?

I was shopping all day in Laval yesterday, and I almost got everyone crossed off my list. :)

Bought:
- A deep fryer for our housemate
- A very nice wok for my mom
- Clapton's last CD for my dad
- U2's second-last CD for his fiancée
- Mink blanket for my g/f's dad

Still need to find something for my g/f and for her mom. I already know what I'm going to get for my sister (new Kelly Clarkson CD), but I forgot to pick it up yesterday.

So, post the gifts you've bought so far!

I havent bought anything yet, but I do know what my girlfriend's getting. It's going to cost at least 300-500 dollars.

Have to admit that I finished my shopping about a week before Turkey Day...exluding a few of my boyfriends gifts..... because he refuses to tell me what he wants / needs....any suggestions?

Spider--man thongs are in this time of year. Hell, if nothing else, making his break 'unforgettable' always works :p

I'm thinking of actually buying my parents something this year (the only year I've had cash) but what, I don't know. I'll find out.

well..I have done the oral sex thing......and everything else..to his enjoyment....but Ive asked..no begged for sex several times...but hes says hes paranoid about getting caught even though we have had empty houses availble several times due to my parents constent absence...and I wouldnt mind the lack of carnal relations..but I lost my virginity about 3 yrs ago and had sex w that boyfriend til I became involved w my current bf...and I do love him..and in his defense I am his first girlfriend bc he falls into the "nerdy" crowd....but he doesnt have to be so antisocial bc I love video games...and Im in NHS at school the same as he is...so..what to u think?

Stop pushing for sex. If he doesn't want to have it, pushing him into it is equivalent to rape. Not wanting to have sex isn't the same as being "antisocial."

But maybe you shouldn't listen to me. I appear to be in a frighteningly small minority of people who don't think that not wanting to have sex is indicative of some disorder or malfunction.

Actual gifts....he likes guitars. metal, video games, and goth clothes.....does that help?

Yeah I wouldn't push too far. I'm surprised whoever it is doesn't want it, but hey, that's their opinion.

Anyways..I'd edit out that name. Might be a bit revealing for him, and a bit embarrassing.

aww so is he in love as well? well i say find a place where you all can do something or I guess continue to wait it out if you love the guy.

Hmm well what are some of his interests? Did u say he likes videogames like you? Then get him some, or hm, maybe ask him flat out for a couple of things that he'd like and then just pick from that...ok bad advice haha hm I dunno sorry that i'm no help girl

Uummm..wow..alot to respond to...the antisocial bit has nothing to do w the sex..just his crowd...how do i get his name off??...... yes i really do love him and ill wait til the day we die if i have to....he wants to but is afraid of the problems it could cause.......i might get him a video game even though my taste for violence might cause me to get a game he doesnt like(he wont watch any good action flicks either).....and he is gothic so i cant change waht he likes

I'd ask him if he already has Beyond Good and Evil, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and/or Metal Gear Solid 3, and if he's interested. Ask his parents and relatives if they're getting him any of those. Get him one (or more if you want) of those that nobody else is getting.

Any of them would be a good gift.

He said something about Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metal Gear Solid 3 when we were watching TV.....I think a commercial was of one or something.....I think it said something about "snake eater" perhaps? is that the same one? my memory stinks...thanks for the advice I'll get those.....and I would like to apologize for inadvertingly turning this into a sex thread......

dont worry about it spider rose, if you wouldnt have done it, the thread would have been derailed by some other sort or fashion it happens a lot lol. Anyways good luck with the stuff for your bf, you all seem like a very good couple, hope you all end up having a great xmas :)

I will be doing my own shopping this year due to having my lisence now (as of November 24th)
