In the brief Google search I did, I couldn't find a Top 100 TV Characters list. The only thing that came close was some list from Brittish TV from 2001. Bravo has a vote going on that should eventually produce a list like that, but it looked to be rather limited.

Sparrow's already on there, at #87. He should be much higher. maybe not #1, but still alot higher.

#84 Darth Vader.

Definately not where I'd place him, but he's on there.

Like I said, I agree with most of it (about 80%), but there are quite a few things I think are ranked too high, too low, aren't on there, or I think shouldn't even show up.

For instance, HAL 9000 from 2001 DEFINATELY and without a doubt should be on there, but he isn't.

The house with the lobster pond in that movie was a house that my family used to own back when the movie was filmed. It's on El molino street in old-town Pasadena, CA.
