I used to believe that we must fight the future, lest change come without our consent. I was wrong. The truth is that we must embrace the future, for only with change can we remain the same.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Life is where everyone thinks they're living in what they perceive to be real life, but are in reality confined to warm, fluid-filled pods with coaxial cables stuck to the back of their heads. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

My children will also evolve, and have superior flaming abilities than I.

On a serious note:

1. When does Life officially start
When there are living cells.

2. Evolution and Creationism
It cannot be determined, and most likely never will be. I doubt very seriously that the truth is anything like the common beliefs of today. They're all just too far fetched.

3. The Meaning of Life
That's up to the liver of the life.

4. Anything Else on Life You Deem Important
I'm very sleepy at the moment.

Do you have stairs in your house?

Just to be on the safe side...

::Nukes everyone else in the forum::

1. When does Life officially start
Depends on whether one means by life (I presume you mean human life here, as it's much better for trolling): their physical life begins at conception. This is mostly irrelevant, given that a human body is host to millions of single-celled lives. Mental life begins at arround 6 months after human conception. Social life never begins for many people, but can begin as soon as 4 years old. (for me, it was about the age of 5)

2. Evolution and Creationism
You managed to put those two words in the same sentence! Amazing! Anyway, I have a bias toward the former of the two, since following the logic of the latter says that the Universe is only ~6000 years old, when humans have been arround for a few thousand years longer than that. Christian Creationism isn't mutually exclusive with Evolution, though.

3. The Meaning of Life
Equals 42. Half of it 21, the minimum age from drinking in the US. Coincidentially, double that number is 84, the average life expectancy in the same country, and half again that number is 63, a common retirement age. So 42's a very good number. And your point for this would be?

4. Anything Else on Life You Deem Important
Yeah, but I forgot. Must not be important.

[edit: fixed the meaning of life]

1. When does Life officially start
When something can absorb nutrients, it is alive.

2. Evolution and Creationism
Both. If you're a literalist when it comes to the Bible, you'll never understand that. EVER! There are plenty of context clues that indicate that Genesis in particular is not to be taken literally.

3. The Meaning of Life
Love.

4. Anything Else on Life You Deem Important
I like cheese!

Have fun

Probably because people realise that following this will only end in abuse, flaming, strawman fallacies, ad hominems, definitions of theory and the beating of several dead horses.
