A few months ago Netflix reccomended The Pink Panther films to me, so I rented them because my dad said they were hilarious...and they were (just finished the 5th film last night), they were all hilarious...Peter Sellers is awesome... The weird thing is, I JUST heard about The Life and Death of Peter Sellers that is coming out Sunday on HBO...that is just plain freaking weird. ANyone plan on seeing this?

... It took you THAT long to see the Pink Panther?

I remember seeing that when I was 7. Those films are awesome.

You said it WRONG!

"Gentlemen! You can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

I love that movie.

phoenix_9286, I've yet to see any of the movies, so whats the big deal if it's taken him that long?
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Some of his movies are pure brilliance. Others tend to drag. Some of the Pink Panthers, for example, can really get a bit boring (e.g. the original "Pink Panther") while others (like "Revenge of the Pink Panther" and "Return of the Pink Panther") have some really classic hilarity. All in all, I like the movies, but I have to admit they've had their ups and downs.

MEIN FUHRER! I CAN WALK!

I'm going to watch the movie when it's on HBO sunday. It was weird seeing Dr. Strangelove characters in color (Dr. Strangelove had red hair?!)

Those are Classic movies. Everyone should see them at least once. I just find it odd that he of all people hasn't seen it.

I see your point. I get a similar feeling when I find people who haven't seen The Third Man or Lawrence of Arabia.

The Third Man, to the best of my knowledge, I haven't seen. I might have, and not know what it was. Lawrence of Arabia, on the other hand, we have on DVD. Damned incredible film.

Well I saw the movie last night, wasn't anything special. Rush gave a great performance though. Towards the end I felt like the people all around Sellers though, I wanted him to be funny throughout the movie, not serious.

I've just seen bits and pieces of all the movies mentioned here at various times when they're on TV.
