For example, I was just watching Viva La Bam (great show) and about a minute into commercails I was thinking, "What show was I watching?". I couldn't think of it. I was juts watching it, and enjoying it, yet I couldn't remember what it was (Untill it started up again). I was really trying my hardest to remember.

Or I'll be driving down a random dirt road. There's reallly no landmarks to detect where you are on the road. This road takes a few minutes to get down. Sometimes, I'll randomy forget where I am. I won't have a clue if I'm about a minute away from the end, or a few seconds.

Etc etc.. I totaly forget the recent past.

I never really bothered to think about it before we started covering memory in my physcology course.

But do I just have a memory disorder or is this normal?
I've voting for the memory disorder thing because it seems kinda unnormal.

Either it's normal, or we both have a memory disorder... ;)

I do that when I'm tired, or not focusing.

Most of the time it involves me thinking about something else. Maybe I need to focus more.

I drift during conversations (i.e., my mind will wander while I actively participate in a conversation). What happened to you on TV has not yet happened to me (that I can recall).

Sometimes when I read a book I start to think of something else but keep on reading. After some time I realize that I've been reading the whole page but can't remember what it was I read.
I hate that!

I was going to say something quite profound... but I really can't remember what it was.

I think it was something about monkeys... I can't remember.

If everyone has the disorder, then it's normal, but it doesn't mean its a good thing.

Happens almost daily... usually after I give up on trying to remember I start playing a game, sometimes it comes back on right as I get up to turn on the Xbox or PS2
