I'm restless. I can't sleep. I slept for maybe an hour while my roomate watched Donnie Darko, but that was it. I think im just worried I wont get my work for this week done. First time this has happened since I got to college.
Well.... I'm gonna try to write a page and a half on a Hemingway story and then finish a Design project I have.
Maybe ill sleep later.
So... how do you guys get yourselves calmed down if you have some work you're worried about?

I usually go work out. Being physically tired takes care of the mental worry for me.

Music. Preferably angry or emotion-intensive, but not emo.

I watch a movie. Preferably, one I have to pay fairly close attention to. That pretty much monopolizes my mind until I can drift into sleep.

There's a bit of science behind it to. I remember reading an article a while back about why people feel tired while watching TV, but then can't fall asleep when they try to. Interestingly, part of it had something to do with your eyes...watching the screen, constantly moving, I guess helped people, anyway, to become tired.

It's kind of like a work out for your brain...I guess. Anyway, it works for me. (Oh, and good luck with your projects too, MBeggar.)

Read a book, one for pleasure: it focuses your mind onto one thing, and lets you go to sleep.

Suppose maybe this works for me mainly because my mind races, goes off on tangents and keeps me awake.

Funny how tea always puts me to sleep. I've never really had any problems with caffeine. Warm drinks, including tea and coffee, always make me sleepy.

Douche licks.

I don't think that's something you should be talking about.
