anyone do up their house's exterior or throw a string of lights into their room like me? it's good mood lighting, and i can read things without having my bright room light on.

outside kinda looks like the griswald's house in christmas vacation, but only because we're the only ones in the whole culvisac who cares to put them up.

but yeah... post your decorations.

I was going to create a makeshift christmas tree from random items that i found in my large pile of garbage (the one that was threatening to entirely take over my half of the room), but my roommate got sick of it and made me clean it all up (I think it was the smell that finally got to him). Other than that, I might make some decorations out of coaster CDs, and I might change my desktop background.

There was a time when my family realized that we had wou up with far too many christmas lights over the years, and had already dug them all out. So, we used them all! We put the some 700-odd colored lights on our tree indoors, but we were left with a few thousand white lights left over. So, we used them to cover a single tree outside! It became a shining beacon that we could (honestly) see for well over a mile. For some odd reason, the very next year, clear christmas lights were all that were availible for sale in stores...
