That's right kids! Call Sony at 1-800-345-7669 (1-800-345-SONY) and choose the option to talk to a representative in the Underground department. Tell them that your memory card was erased, and be sure to still have your Holiday Demo Disk handy. They'll give you a place to send the disk to, and then they'll ask you which of the following games you'd like to choose from. You may have 1:

Jak 2
Sly 2
Athens 2004
ATV Offroad Fury 3
Gran Tursimo 3
Hot Shots Golf: Fore!
MLB 2004
NCAA 2004
Parapa The Rapper 2
Wild Arms 3

So get on those phones and get to replacing that demo disk with a real working game!

Isn't this illiegal. Aren't you going to get your sorry self banned? heh. *Must do as the crowd does.* :p

How is that illegal? He's informing people of an option that Sony completely supports. Plus the fact that you can't rip them off because you have to mail them the demo disk. That disk is your proof. No disk, no free game.

Agreed. They're mostly just trying to get the demo disks back before a class-action suit starts up. Especially since it's data that cannot be put at a price, they'd und up paying so much money to get into court, that they'd end up just paying settlement fees anyway. I don't mind. A good platformer will do good in my collection. (Jak 2)

Gran Turismo, ATV, and Wild arms are all really popular... I'd take a free copy of Wild Arms if I could get it.

Jak 2, Sly 2, GT 3, NCAA 2004, MLB 2004, ATV 3, and Hot Shots Golf are all quality games.

...And wild arms 3. Not many people have played it, but it's one of the better RPGs on the PS2. <3 the battle system.

Wild Arms 3 is amazing. Simply put, simply said, amazing. Perhaps one of my favorite RPGs (at least in the top 5).

Gran Turismo 3 is old, but it's still good

Jak 2 is awesome

Sly 2 is supposedly quite good.

Oh and

Jak II had a great storyline, was was fun to play.

It just had a learning curb as steep as a mountain.

my brother (Age ten, sucks at video games) Beat Jak II on hero (I think) mode. I have no idea how he did it.

Sly Raccoon 2 is amazingly fun, but parts of it are extremely difficult (for a kids game).

I got shoved onto it for a day cos the language testers couldnt complete it.

Umm, mabye i don't get what's going on here but it sounds illiegal to me.

Sony sent out a demo disc that caused people's memory crads to be deleted. If that happened to you, they are giving you a free game to say "sorry". Hardly illegal.

Now stop playing mini-mod.

Well, they're more trying to uncirculate these things before they become well known and it gets out of hand. I promise in 20 years, one of these disks will go on e-bay and a bunch of videogame nerds will flock to spend overwhelmingly amazing prices for it.

Yet it's true. It was more or less explained in the first post. All you had to do was a little addition of the facts.

Well it says 'Underground.' I could easily see how someone ill informed would interpit it as illegal, I just think it's a lack of ignorance to go look around before making acusations.

You'd only get that assumption if you took the word out of context.

"Call Sony at 1-800-345-7669 (1-800-345-SONY) and choose the option to talk to a representative in the Underground department."

That sentance says to call Sony, and then ask to speak to this person in this department.

I can't see anyway to interpret 'Underground' as illegal in that sentance.
