Last year, I had the idea for the monopoly-based logo linked to above.
Then today I was thinking, maybe some kind of complete "Massopoly" game board could be completed, (with that green/black tone). But what locations could be on there?
Maybe some mod/resource sites? Code alliance would have to be on this thing imo

And Jail would be "Banned".
Any ideas for Chance, C. Chest, and Free parking?
Utilities?
Maybe the railroads could be some of the various forums (i'm thinking Discussion, Showcase, Editing, and Music/Tech)?

Monetary units = credits maybe?

Tokens? (I can't believe I forgot about them!)

Anyone think this is even a good idea?

Use various locations from JK/DF for some of the spaces. Maybe use Editor's Corner for Free Parking?

Let's replace the Monopoly guy with Kyle.

And replace the game peices like so:

Dog : Yalamarshi (or whatever)
Hat : Lightsaber
Wheelbarrel thing : The Moldy Crow
The Iron : The Imperial Signia

there's a couple more I forgot, I think.

I Think this is a great idea, but it needs to be done properly, Like a blown up image we can print off... Anybody got an industrial scanner and a monopoly board?

I've got a first edition monopoly in french. The cards are so soft they're almost liquid. Half the 100$ bills have coffee stains and scotchtape on them, and everything is cheap. 50$ for a house! w00tles.

ooh i want i want.

must have a tiles for all the forums... i think the (insert name of writing forum that i cant remebr the name of) should get the free parking. and forum of love and justin definatlly shold get there special colored spaces. and a space devoted to the women of massassi. all 4 of us?.

Im flattered, really, but theres no practical way for me to implement this in Perl/HTML. This sort of thing would have to be done with java or flash... :\

Heh, someone post a link to that text file that lists all of the members that have ever registered at massassi. The game could use it as a database for AI (computer player) names! We could limit it to the top 1000 posters or something so we don't get too many obscure names. ;)

Haha! Great idea! We could replace the railroads with the four female Massassians. ;) I like where this is going.. I'm getting excited enough about this to maybe even volunteer with the coding if I have the time over winter break...

That happened to me once at my dad's place on his comp. A fellow massassian helped me out though (Not naming names)

It's an excellent idea. Someone should try to code it, it wouldn't be too difficult. A small team project and we'd all have something on our HDs to remember Massassi by! (Or, if anyone can write up some netcode, something to do in the chat!)
