...and wow. The lowest framerate I had was 200FPS! LMAO. I remember playing it for the first time on my first computer. 7-17FPS on a Celeron 333 with 128MB RAM and a PCI ATi Mach 4. I then upgraded to a PCI TNT Vanta 16MB. Woha! 87FPS I couldn't be touched. Anyway, I'm just waiting for Aaron to get his SG-1 mod out now.

With my 9800 Pro I could see it like being like 500fps with AA and AF. ;)

I think you'd have to use something like Radlinker to enable AA and AF in JK as it's only a DX what, 5? game. Yeah, my GeForce 3 is sufficient for now.

Hm... My top is 60fps... And an odd thing... Sometimes, in some parts of some levels, I see game play being much smoother, and maybe a little quicker, though fps doesn't exeed 60.

My specs are: 1.6Ghz, 512MB Ram, GeForce4, Dell Latitude LapTop.

It's called V-Synch. The framerate is adjusted to the monitor's refresh rate.

Mine stays at 60 fps as well. Though I suspect my computer is capable of several times that...

My computer refuses to run JK at anything higher than 8 fps, often lower, and I have a pentium 2.8, geforce 4, 512 ram etc...

I could get 160 FPS with a TNT2..

Hmm... we could make this into a "top JK framerate" thread, but I would need to figure out how to turn off vsynch.

I get like 400-600 framerate when I play. The weapons animate so fast that it looks like Kyle is on speed. You can't even see the gun when you use force speed because it is swaying so horriblely fast.

You think wrong. AA and AF work for all sorts of DX games, no matter their version.

Anyway, I get about 500fps in the game.

Also, I pity you Mith. You got 7-17fps with that kind of computer back then?!

My 75mhz laptop with absolutely no good video at all ran the game at the smallest resolution with an average framerate of 15fps :p

It was terrible. Then I got a 3dfx card. Then all was good.

lol -- I remember playing on a P133 with 16mb RAM and a 2mb Matrox Millennium...15-20fps in 640x480. Then I bought a Monster3D 3dfx card -- and it was up to 30-40+fps! :D

It's ridiculous now..not going to bother checking, though :p
