Cool, but too slow and buggy yet for mainstream Google.

That's why it's beta. :)

I guess the Gmail beta spoiled me, what with being flawless and all from the get-go.

That makes it a whole lot easier to search for porn!

Either Google filters all the pornographic words, or no one uses Google to search for porn.

I guess they don't want little timmy to stumble across porn when he's trying to find out what a sextant is.

Google filters all inapproprate words when you have safe search on.

Safesearch doesn't JUST filter out bad words, it filters out half the forums by accident too.

That painting was a gift, Todd. I'm taking it with me.

If it's not putting the ones with the most results at the top, do you think it's the most searched for that takes that spot?

Yeah, too slow to be cool now, but should be useful in the future.

Try scholar.google.com for some more academically oriented results. Also, print.google.com looks interesting.

print.google.com is pretty cool, would be nice when it gets a good database.

Of course, print.google.com has some security flaws. I can read entire books, and print the images, something they are trying to avoid. (Although the average user would not be able to. It requires finding an obscure link in the source, then also dealing with sessioning for images.)

Spork monkey? I need one of those...

Also, sporkle should be a more commonly used verb.

One feature I don't like is auto highlight delete. Ctrl+shift+left usually just highlights the previous word, but Google has it so that deletes it automatically too. It's not a big thing, but something that will take a long time for me to get used to simply because nowhere else does that.

But this is absolutely fantastic for searching for something you don't know how to spell. It saves you having to do a search for 'kirsty galahgar' for Google to ask on the next page 'Did you mean Kirsty Gallagher'?
