Someone posted a similar thread on another message board I frequent, so i thought I'd post it here too....

Do you have a special nick-name (or multiple nick-names) for your (Boy/Girl)friend/Fiance/(Husband/Wife)?

If so what is it, and why?

If you aren't in a relationship or don't have a nick-name for your current, think of ones you've had for ones in the past, or ones that you have for other people close to you (family members, close friends, etc. or post ones they have for you).

I've got a few different names for my fiance...

The newest one (and the best one IMO) is basically just Star... but used in the context of "my star"...

Because she's my special star... amazing and beautiful. The only star in my universe, which is more than sufficient because she lights up my life.

Another one I like is Teddy Bear, because she's there when I need her, always listens, and great to hold, and something I cherish completely, and would be heart broken to lose.

And the strangest one would be "Chocolate sprinkle" I just came up with that one while we were at Baskin Robbins, she liked it so it stuck.

I've only had one freind who's been known excusively by a nick name, and one that wasn't related to their name. She's know as Jinx.

But if you're going to be talking about drinking nick names.... oh boy.... I could go on for pages.

Well at some point in sec4 I was trying to study my biology notes but I kept forgetting that term, so I started slipping it in every sentence I said so that I'd remember it, and then this other guy started doing the same thing and it eventually became a kind of nickname.

and for those of you wondering

I don't really have any interesting ones regarding significant others... but people usually just call me Mike, Mikey, Zam.. etc. For a while it was me-shell or Mitchual because the office mispelled my name as Michuel on the attendence, that one stuck for a few years...

But I work I enjoy labelling my fellow coworkers. One is a guy with a russian accent who thinks he's the ****, and does all his work perfectly so I introduced him to everyone as "Big Tyme". Another is this philipino kid who kept acting like he was black(using ebonics, wearing a G-Unit chain). He's changed now, but I still refer to him and introduce him as G-Unit.

People at school used to call me pyro (which is appropriate considering how i got expelled, but that's another story for another time) but my current nickname is Fish. I was filling out a job application at Spencer Gifts and some chick behind the counter said "Oh, your name's Alan." so I says "No, it's spelled 'Alan,' but it's pronounced 'Fish.'" So it kinda stuck with me. People from my old high school here in Orlando just call me white boy or crazy cause... I'm both, I guess. I'd actually have to ask.

My girlfriend and I call each other Babi. or Puppy. or Pup-pup.

I go my General, H.P, or Slick.

NEVER Max. I hate when people call me Max or Maxi.

When they spell it Maxsex. That's funny.

Ugh... my past nicknames, in chronological order. (First of all, my real name is Brandon.)
B-Dog
Kiddy (the most common, for some reason *shrug*)
Cow (I ate grass during gym one time, then went "moo.")
B
and of course.... sexy man-beast.

>.>

<.<

Ok I made that last one up.

Then there's this guy at my church we call Tito. I don't know why. But's it kinda funny. We added him to our band, and he's known as Big T, which sometimes gets slured into "Big Teat" when we say our band name "Big T's BLT."

Hmm, actually the first four letters of my name have formed my "nickname". But still, the only proper nicknames I've had have been FG, FGR or Niku. :(
