In my city, there's this little place called the Donut Stop. It's a donut shop that's open from 10PM to 10AM. I've been going there since I was 15(I'm 21), but tonight I had an expierience that I think will change my life. I met a guy named Jeremy, who is one of the most real people I've ever met. He's 30 years old, has a masters degree in Philosphy, and works at Baker's Supermarket. He has 2 kids and spends his spare time playing bass guitar and writing poetry. I'm a pretty open guy, I was never one of the popular kids, I've always just been on the fringe, just doing my own thing, chilling with people who understand me. I pride myself on never giving into the "norm". Anyway, the guy I met tonight was the most open guy I ever met. He just explained his whole life and philosophy to me and my friend. I feel like I've known him all my life already. I just kind of wanted to put into words how I'm feeling right now. I'm almost done with my junior year of college, and I have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life. And seeing a guy like Jeremy, I just want to be as free as he is. It's amazing how open and wise someone so relativly young can be. We talked about poetry, music, movies, and life, all in the span of just a few hours. It made me realize just how big the world is and how little I've seen. I want to explore the world, and change how things work. I want to write words that affect people's lives and change how they think. I just want everyone to be as happy as they can be, no matter what they do. I want to tear down this commercial society we live in, and rebulid it into something focused on the person, not the money. And I was thinking maybe I could start some sort of online magazine, or website, or something, just dedicated to bringing about a social revolution. I consider myself a pretty computer savvy person, but I don't really know that much about building a website outside of Geocities or some other crappy template. Anyway, I just wanted to express how idealistic I'm feeling tonight, and if anybody is dedicated enough to help me build a site, or learn how build one, or just contribute some material, then email me at EasyCheese51882@yahoo.com or IM me on AIM at Extreme Amdor. Anyways, use this thread to express some revalations you've had or whatever. I just want to talk to people about what they want to do in life.

...?

What does that mean 'right.'?? The guy just practically had a religious experience and you HAD to act COOL and write one ****ing word in reply?

I can't help you out cheese, because I REALLY suck with computers. I just replied to this thread to flame the guy above...

I wish you best of luck with this project though, because it seems like a great idea.

It's an interesting idea, but you need to elaborate more on what this website would actually be and what it would have on it. I mean just calling for a revolution could attract the wrong people...

well, i'm glad you've found a 'direction' for your life...
my advice to you is:
hop on a plane to a third world country and live there for about a month.

that'll make you feel very "free" and "open" and "wise but young"
