Being someone who managed to consciously sit through the original without passing out, I can say that the preview was scarier then the garbage the first one spewed out (meaning not scary at all). The only redeeming thing in the original was the woman was nice to look at (and the sequel took that out).

So that being said, while this one might be scarier, I still think its crap.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

You thought the woman in the original was nice to look at?....

Don't you realise that the one in the original was Margot Kidder?...

....Do you have a thing for mummmies or something?

I don't remember the first one. Was it the one with bleeding walls?

I like how in real life the people living there got so freaked out from all the ghosts and demons and whatnot that they ran out of their houses screaming one night but then came back the next day with a moving company to get all their furniture and belongings.

Hahahaha, oh wait, it's SCARY not LAUGHABLE, almost forgot.

Seriously, this movie and the excorsist are the biggest laugh I've ever had, not because I'm sick and twisted, but come now: Girl's head turns all the way around, she flops around on the bed, and tells priests to F-off. Sounds like a night of hilarious fun, to me.

It's also based off a real exocrism of around some of the same traits.

Supposedly. But, then again, so was The Amityville Horror, and look how that turned up.

The original movie was worthless. My dad got me the DVD last Christmas. I think he mistook it for a different movie. He's not very good at remembering movie titles.
I'm just a little boy.

The exorcist was pretty funny, but wasn't the amittyville horror to be proven to be a hoax?

*spoilers*
The funniest part of the exorcist is that Father Merrin is getting all close and she just vomits on him.
It was random humour at its best!

There was a documentary about it on Discovery channel about a month ago.

Ruining YOUR night? Blah....YOU ruined MY night by saying that you thought Margot Kidder was hot. :p

You guys thought the original movie sucked? No. I think that all of the remakes that are being put out suck. I mean come on, isn't there any originality anymore? Here's one of the best (well, maybe worst) examples of this. In 1958, a movie called "The Blob" was made. Thirty years later in 1988, a remake was made of this movie. Now, in 2004-2005, yet another remake of the film is being made. What the *&#$?!? I can understand a sequel, but a remake of a film that already has one?! Come on!! There's also going to be a remake of "The Wickerman" with half of the cast from "Gone in 60 Seconds". At this rate, there will more than likely be a remake of "The Wizard of Oz" soon. And if it doesn't stop there, "Lord of the Rings" remakes, "The Matrix" remakes, and "Jaws" remakes!!! The entertainment industry is so *&$%@#* unoriginal now a days. And don't go saying "well, if they can make it better than the original, it's a good thing", because fixing an original with an unoriginal idea is just lame!
Who made you God to say "I'll take your life from you"?

Well, the movie was made like 30 years ago. I was tired the night I watched it (I fell asleep watching part 2 actually) and there wasn't much to look at in the boring movie.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.
