Brightness in Serious Sam

I was wondering if there was anyway to adjust the brightness in Serious Sam. My monitor is kind of dying, and I've made the appropriate adjustments to my desktop coloring, but it doesn't affect any games. I've found Brightness & Gamma options under Advanced Options, but they don't seem to make much of a difference. Any help is appreciated.

If the gamma/brightness settings don't work, you have a more serious problem. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Well, I know on some display setting software like nVidia's drivers, you have to make sure you are tweaking the display settings used for applications rather than the desktop to work. Also, if there is a setting to disable having games handle their own display settings, disable that to see if it works.

and with any nvidia or ATi card you can crank the gama in advanced settings and then turn it down after the game is done. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

go to goodwill or salvation army... buy a monitor... then save up for a new one

the only problem with this is 99% of the monitors at those places are 15"
