Finally going to read The Guide.

After hearing about it, after seeing people argue about it, after hearing lines from it, I just had to pick up these books.

I went to my local bookstore and picked up "The hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: The Trilogy of Four"

I must say.... Amazing. I haven't laughed that hard in class (During a test I might add) since the time I brought a shermin's lagoon book to school.

Anywho, I am on page 316, being about chapter 15 of 'The Restaurant at the end of the Universe"

So yeah....

Talk about it? :p

Hitchhikers > *

Anyone who says otherwise, is either brain dead, a total idiot, or has nothing in the way of a sense of humor.

I was trying today to record the radio version form '83 onto my computer. I was half-way through the second tape before I realized my cables were bad and I was only getting the right channel. That was about 90 minutes down the drain.

Funniest book ever. My dad even laughed at it.

I didn't particuarly like the last book... but the others are unmatched.

I've always especially liked God's final message to his creation...
I bet you think that's funny, don't you.

"...more controversial than Oolon Coluphid's trilogy of philosophical blockbusters: Where God Went Wrong, Some more of God's Greatest Mistakes and Who Is This God Person Anyway"

Seriously some great writing.

Oh yes indeed. "What do you mean you've never been to Alpha Centauri? Apathetic bloody planet, I've no sympathy at all!"

Currently, Arthur and Ford are on prehistoric earth and the rest are on the Heart of Gold. I must say, it's really amazing the way things turn out, then go back in, then out, then just flop inside out then explode. It's the best thing that's happened to me since I read the SoT series.
