Tonight, as my birthday present, me and my parents (well it is also a semi present for my mum seeing as it is also her birthday today) we are going to the telstra tower rotating resteraunt for dinner then goin to the casino.

BTW. for the grandparent money in a card, my nan gave me 50 dollars.

That means I have 85 dollars at EB (family friend gave me a 35 dollar gift voucher for EB) and the 35 dollar gift card he gave me for christmas. (that was the same family friend) the reason why we opened those christmas presents early is because 1, we are not able to meet up on christmas, and 2, it is easier as we always meet uo for the christmas visit on or the day before my mum's ands my birthday, and 3rd, he visits his own reletives on christmas.

It always seems like on massassi, when people say "Now I'm able to legally drink" the legally part is in there, assuming that they've already illegally dranken...

Massassians are all drunks.

Happy Birthday!

no. I'm not of legal drinking age (21) yet, but when I turn 21, I'm not gonna rush out and get trashed. That's so damned stupid. I'm not even going to rush out and just have one beer. Because it's not something I'm anticipating. I plan to be the designated driver on my friends' 21st birthdays.

I'll drink when the ocassion arises after that birthday, not the second it's legal (and obviously, not before it is, either).

I know a lot of people won't appreciate that.

Again, I am just excited about being able to legally do something at a younger age than you yanks.

I do not plan to get drunk. I might have some wine, but I will not drink to excess.

Also, since when did it become a rule that in order to drink alchohol, you had to drink enough to get drunk.

I have tried small sips of different alchohol, (offered to me by my parents so it was not illegal) and I have not tasted one that I like yet. They are either too bitter/sour or have had their taste be too ethanoly (i.e. tastes to much of ethano or too high an alchohol contentl).

So stop accusing someone of being alchoholic when they are just trying to upstage yanks. just put up with the fact that every nation with a legal drinking age of 18 will have it's citizens pick on you for that fact as long as the U.S minimum legal drinking age remains at 21.

18? Your life is over... all downhill from here. Might as well transfer all your funds to me and go live in a shack out in the Yukon Delta. Its the best thing for you.

Also, the drink I had was a mudslide, basicly a chocolate milkshake liquer (sp?).

In the casino, I went in with $100 and came out with $214.

All I can say is, best birthday ever.

What's the legal age for beating someone who constantly puts down a particular country and rants obsessively about his own? 18?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it'd be 18.

That's the stupidest thing ever. Keg beer is the nastiest crap on earth and has only one purpose--to get you drunk. Drink yourself some Heineken, some Guinness, som Maker's Mark and Jack Daniels. Get some of the good **** before you go and get trashed for no good reason.

The funny thing is, americans don't really care if it's legal or not. We do what we want, and when we're told we can't, we just do it more. Legal or not, if we want alcohol, we're going to have it.

This isn't really something to get defensive over either. We make fun of other countries all the time. The French, the Canadians, the French Canadians. They don't get defensive, they just counter the attack.

actualy, not all canadian's counter attack, unlike the kiwis who have a huge amount of jokes to pick on Australians (just as Australians have lots of jokes to pick on kiwis), there are some canadians who chuck a hissie fit if they have a joke about canadian's told to them.
