I am trying to host games, but I can't seem to host em! My friend told me it has something to do with forawrding routers, but he doesn't know how to do it either.

If you are using a router, get into the configuration utility and set your computer up as the DMZ host. You want to make sure that you know your local IP address before hand.

Or, if you don't wish to put yourself outside your firewall, figure out what ports the game uses. OFten youc an find it on the official website, or even the company that made your routers website. Find out your local IP, and typically you'll need to go to 'Advanced', in your routers set up page. Enter the port(s) and your IP, and you'll probably have to reboot. Then you'll be all set.
