My view is the ultimate from my rez window. It's a nice woodsy area outside of Peterborough, and I overlook the Otonabee river. Sadly, I am not there now, and have no pic

You people who have snow. Yes, you. I want you to know that I hate you all specifically because you have snow, and I don't.

We won't see ANYTHING until early next year. Probably in late January or Feburary. And even then, we'll get a foot of snow that's gone in 2 days time.

Bah.

If we get lucky, yeah. Even so, it only lasts around two days. Hardly enough time to enjoy it. The rest of the time we get snow and nothing sticks. It just gets wet and cold.

I love snow, and I've had snow. It's awesome. Unless you want to go anywhere.

Seriously, 1.5 feet of snow is awesome...especially before they plow the roads.

Down where we live, yes, it is awesome. But I'd love to get alot more than that just once.

So long as the end result isn't the power going out for awhile.

I just want to live somewhere that has real weather. Not somewhere as drastic as Flex's hometown, but somewhere that has a few steady months of sunshine in the summer and atleast a few weeks of snow in the winter. London has grey and humid in august and grey and freezing in january, and variations of wet and miserable in between.

If you'd be willing to give up sunlight for more than five hours a day during several months in the winter, Finland would apparently usually be polarised enough for you. I say usually because we had dreary October-esque weather that started in July and lasted until a week ago.

Anyhow, this isn't my bedroom window, as all it'd show would be a chain-link fence, scrub-bushes and some snow.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

Yeah, Finland's pretty good weather wise. The summers I've been were in one instance glorious and the second time...acceptable :p

We're only getting about 6 hours of daylight right now, Britain is pretty far north afterall.

Wait...6 hours of daylight? In London? Like, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.?
