Well I liked my *takes off headphones* Sennheiser HD400's. Until I heard the Sennheiser PX200's I think they were. I think I asked my brother in law to get out of the house after he showed them to me (jokingly of course). They are amazing.

HD400s are budget garbage. HD497s are the only cans worth it in that line.

For unamped Sennheiser, either HD497s or HD280s (Pro, Silver, not sure of the difference). Search the Head-Fi.org forums.
