Im employed as a junior network administrator. W00t! I finally got to tell Centrelink (the dole giving government organisation that makes Microsoft look efficient) to go to hell (figurativly. I was quite polite)

Wage isn't bad, it starts low 30's and goes up to mid 30s after 3 months (this is in Australian bucks).

Well ill be in a semi cubicle I think. The work I will be doing is mainly techincal (work that I love). In the first few weeks ill just be mucking around on boxes and learning how to set up stuff etc, how they go about it.
During that time I think I will be helping re-design the company's servers.
I will be getting problems from the help desk guys brought to me and I have to fix them.. least that seems to be the case.

Im pretty happy about it. THe bosses seem really cool, its really easy to get to, the pay aint too bad, they use both linux and windows, as do I, and it should be a nice place for a bit of a challenge, doing stuff I like.

I don't know if I will enjoy it as much as my firefighting, which I absolutely love, even when we are not doing anything. But, we'll see.
