Woah, what happened to the post count?

Ok, calm down people, stop panicking.
Your actual post count is fine, if you hover the mouse over your count the real number is still accurate (at least, I think)
but notice how every single person has 0x posts?
What's with that? Repercussions of that worm/hack/whatever?

The only beneficial thing that the worm did was screw up post counts.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

The hexidecimal post count is a custom script, I'm guessing that the staff didn't reinstall it along with the vBulletin.

[edit]The 0x is probably hard-coded into the template, but the script that converts from decimal to hexidecimal is either gone or is still there but the forum hasn't been altered to use it.[/edit]

The templates are still the same... I think oS/Brad made a few changes to the forum software itself though that mustve gotten reset. Either that or the php upgrade broke it.

No, we're just converting to a new system where everyone is associated with an animal. So far you are all Oxen. The ranks go up from there:

Llama
Rat
Giraffe
Etc...

Will the highest unassignable ranks be "Noah" for moderators and "God Himself" for admins?

It would probably be more like:
Mods - Moses
Admins - Jesus
Brian - God

...if we used such a ranking system.
