Men of Valor/savegame rant

Seriously, what the everloving **** is wrong with some fps developers? Why god why would you make a game really hard AND not allow the player to manually savegame?

I'm barely 3 levels into Men Of Valor and already am hating it intensely. I'm told to clear out this village...which before I get to I gotta have a big long gun battle at a wooden bridge with waves of VC, fine whatever, did it....then head down the road to the village, am about to clear out the last building when a VC jumps out and kills me in 2 shots even though I had full health.....then the game loads right back before the bridge.

Again. This is 4th time I've had to go through that freaking tedious bridge battle just to get to the village. Do some developers just resent their customers and deliberately seek to piss them off as much as possible?

Hard to believe this game was made by the guys who did MoH:AA. Aside from the savegame issue, the animations are HORRIBLE (everyone moves like strung out drug addicts), you can't jump at ALL (yes even slight 30cm mounds stop you dead), the AI is shoddy and to cap it off, you can only get ammo off enemy corpses which often disappear before you can get to them......I spent the second level wandering arround with NO ammo at all since the enemies I'd killed were all on slight hills my movement challenged character couldn't get to. Brilliant.

End rant.

not made by the people who made MOHAA

those people left 2015 and made CoD

the animations and lack of a real save system... or any cheats are the big problems for me... jumping isn't a problem for me

i'm stuck on like... i think the 4th mission... all of a sudden 48572384759839876 enemies pop out of nowhere and shoot me all at once when i get to a certain spot...

i need god mode... at least for that one mission

yeah, i've heard that game sucks.

I feel cheating is justified in this case.

Far Cry pissed me off because of its lack of a manual save system, but once I figured out that you could manually save through the console, the game became a lot more fun. Maybe you can do something similar in MoV?

If you can I can't find any info on it via google....and yeah as DrkJedi mentioned, no cheats. I doubt I'll be finishing this one.

it doesn't suck... but it's not great either... it could have been a much better game if a few broken things were fixed... like the save system
eat right, exercise, die anyway

I only heard bad things about this game. I wonder, at times, if they hire ordinary people to test their products.

Argh.

Ok so I hung with it and am up to some big huge battle on a beach area, it rocks. Really. This battle reminds me of all the best parts of CoD and MoH:AA and then some. The only problem is, again, it's completely ****ing ruined by the inability to savegame.

I fight for 15 minutes, then I die...from full health to zero in 1 second.....from one enemy hiding in grass I didn't see. Back to square one. I might add that I'm already playing this stupid ****ing game on EASY and moving so slowly for fear of dying. It's really criminal how good this battle COULD be but isn't thanks to a really fundamental dev **** up.
