Well this has been a great christmas for me. My old man is pissed at me, and there's no way to really get away from him. I'm just sitting up in my room learning new chords on my guitar. I don't really have anything to do. I'm considering playing through Half Life 2 again, but nothing really seems appealing because I'm rather depressed.

I hate christmas break because I have to be away from the people that I actually like. I miss my friends at school, and I don't have many friends at home. When I'm at school I can walk for 5 minutes and do just about anything I want to. Go to the movies, the mall, a restaurant... doesn't matter. Here at home I have to bum a car off of one of my parents and half of the time it's impossible to get one off of them.

I'm just holding out until monday. My dad has to go back to work, and I'll be able to hi jack a vehicle and go to the mall. I'll probably end up spending my christmas money on some dvds. I'm highly considering the ultimate matrix collection, since it's got a digital transfer of the original movie, and I don't own the third movie of the series. And 4 extra discs of nothing but special features should keep me occupied for a while.

I don't know what I'm going to do. I feel like I'm in an impossible situation. I wish I could go back to school already, and I don't think I have been off on break more than a week. I have 4 weeks left. I hate winter break. Next year I'm living off campus so I can stay there over both summer and winter break.

So why is he pissed at you?

He says I have a bad attitude. I'm sick. I'm in a bad mood... because I'm sick. Am I supposed to sing and dance because I have been miserable for the past 2 weeks?

Trust me, I know the feeling. Sometimes all you can do is avoid the situation. If you have some extra bucks at the mall, I suggest getting a good book. Like mechs? Like books? Get Battletech. If you like fantasy you could always try out Dragonlance or the Sword of Truth series.

Also, a good game to occupy time is Deus Ex if you don't already have it.

Basically--sorry man, feel better.

Sorry yoshi, but I have not felt like making models since getting sick. If/when I get better, I'll start churning them out again.

Don't worry, there's always someone that's had a worse Christmas than you. Take me for example, I found out today that my mom is moving out with her ex from 20 years ago that cheated on her and beat her.
