For christmas yesterday I got 3 DVD sets, and just after opening them, I started watching them. First I watched the extended lotr box set (Excluding the extras), then the starwars box set, and we just finished watching the last matrix movie. My life is now complete.

[I nearly stuck in BoB, but realized that I hadn't slept that entire time. I think they're out there watching the Kill Bill seriese, though.]

Post your geeky endevors.

Hehe, I approve.

Me at my geekiest was watching Firefly straight through. I'll probably do it one more time before going to see Serenity in September.

I've already become proficient at reading the binary clock I got for Christmas. And I'm planning a Star Wars marathon movie night for sometime next week.

Yeah, well....I... um, I.....I have to explain acronyms and "leet speak" on an almost daily basis to people at school. And how learning a programming language is easier than learning a foreign language.....

Nope, any way I look at it, you're more of a geek than I am Kirby. :D ;)

phoenix_9286, my family has Christmas on Dec 24 also, not enough time on the 25th to do everything, so we celebrate ours a day early.

Well, I explain geekism things to people at school daily as well. Like 'woot.' I tend to say woot more often off the internet than online. Odd? Or geeky?

I tend to say "wootwoot" in real life, and I have said "lol" out loud once or twice.
"Whats that for?" "Thats the machine that goes 'ping'" PING!

Not geeky, but Massassi related, I've had to explain what I mean when I use obscenities such as "Kakdammit" or "For the love of Kak." My friends got annoyed with that, as they didn't know what was going on and couldn't really fathom the humor.

I say 'woot' quite a lot, but I've never said 'lol' out loud.

I'm not sure what that is considered... geeky or odd.
2004-12-25, 8:54 PM #13
oh my god, I've done the EXACT same thing. I'll occasionally spit a 'kakdammit' and have to explain it out to people. In the end, they just think I'm crazy.

Luckily I sell electronics so I speak geek all day long. Before I sold them though I'd be like, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot are you talkin' 'bout?" Or if something was cool I'd be like, "Holy uberleetness!" I still got problems with "OMGHI2U."

How the hell do you say "lol" in real life? When something is funny, you laugh, not go... "El oh el!"

A freind of mine watched all of Yu Yu Hakusho in a row. It took three days, only breaks wer to eat and shower.

I think that beat ya'll.

But the geekiest thing I've done.. eh..
I'd probably say about ~15 straight hours of gaming (took two 'breaks' to watch TV lol) my freinds and I did once.

I once spent a week on the computer, barely stopping to eat and sleep.

Mon-Fri = 4pm (back from school) to 3am
Sat-Sun = 8am to 6am

God I love pc games.
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.
