I have $150 in Best Buy gift certificates acquired on birthday and Christmas. I'm quite indecisive at the moment on what to get. Many items are alluring to me. Poll options list my current items in contention. If you say "other" please specify.

The really sad thing is that Nairb here is telling us to get a life, and yet all he has to do is go around posting on threads and telling people to get a life... should I bother pointing out the irony here?

My advice for you, Nairb, is to turn off your computer, unplug it from the wall, then call your ISP and tell them to cancel your internet access. It will make the world a better place.

<3 Kyle.

I'm defintely siding with the Geforce, unless you're a big CS player. The upgrade to CS:S from CS is fantastic.

All of the above. CS:S is pretty kickass, and video card upgrades are always nice, but BoB > *.

Definitely Band of Brothers. Brilliant series.

You need to tell us what kind of video card you have already.

Edit: Regardless, I voted 'other'.

Get both HL2 and Band of Brothers.

 $149.99

Last week I had to shelve a couple of copys of BoB at the Best Buy I work at and they were each marked $99.99 USD, so I do believe he's right on target on the price on that.

I have a Ti4200 in me box right now.

Ok. New development. Best Buy no longer carries the 6600GT less I purchase it online. The next in the line is the 6800. It's a three hundred dollar card. Mind you I am still willing to go ATI here.

They were all out of Band of Brothers :( I was really tempted to walk away with HL2.

I believe they sell the 9600XT for ~150, maybe 200. Not nearly as good of an upgrade as to 6600GT, but it's significant enough.

Defintely love my 9600xt, but if you can, might as well go for a 9800np or xt.
