Just got $450 for 13 hours of work... that I've yet to do. Basically these people are majorly loaded and I'm taking care of their dogs while they're gone.

13 hours? Peh, just lock 'em in the shed or something and release them just before they come back to pick them up. That way, you get paid 450 bucks for doing about 5 minutes of work.

Holy crap. I'd be wary if I were you, $450 cash up front for taking care of dogs?
Are these dogs man-eaters or something?

I think he means 13 hours of work overall. Like 1 hour each day for two weeks or two hours each day for one week or somethig similar

Because earning money is wrong!

It seems to be a bad thing to want to do a good job when being paid these days... When I work, I slave to earn my cash. I couldn't accept money on any other terms.

How is that confusing? Seriously, it's not a hard concept to grasp. It's a simple business concept.

Pheonix, perhaps he's stating for the simple fact that he wishes he had the kinda money for the reason of "watching" dogs, and since it seems simplistic, lord knows I'd associate it with doing 5 minutes of work. Mmmm.....5 minutes - 450 bucks. That's a lot of Olive Garden......

Just remember to have the same number of dogs when they get back, and you'll have no problems. :D

These people are majorly loaded and totally generous. The dogs are two purebred shihtsus that are sooo good. He is a senior engineer for Boeing and she is a stay at home mom. My sister babysits for them, they pay her $10/hour. These people have in the past given me about $350 in computer components because they were going to throw the components away. This Christmas they just up and gave my sister $250 in American Express gift card and some other presents on top of it. Yeah, these people rock.

Meh. Just throw about 20 layers of newspaper on the floor, and toss the dogs some physically challenged cats. Food, exercise, and a place to take a s***, all in 2 easy steps.

I'll even donate catloaves. They gots no legs.
