Looks like the Attack Of The Clones TC is D.O.A.

I just went to check out the AOTC TC site, and here's what I got:

D.O.A. The Attack Of The Clones TC is no more, I guess. All that work, down the drain. That's what bothers me about some of these TCs. Remember the Star Wars Trilogy TC for Mysteries Of The Sith? Same thing.

Surprise, surprise.

I thought DOA meant "Dead on arrival" ?

You hit the nail on the head, Shintock. I was abbreviating the words. That's what I meant-it is Dead On Arrival.

Anakin probably didn't pay the bill again. It happens a lot.

Ok, but if it was never released, how could it be DOA?

When you arrive to the website, it's dead?

Ha! Agreed.

I sure do think the mod's gone down hill though. They don't spill things out every week like they used to. Same with a certain matrix mod I know...

Oh no don't tell me people might have other things to do in their lives.

If this community has taught me anything over the years, it''s that grand ambitious TC's have a distinct purpose......and that is to be cancelled after a long period of inactivity.

or get released and people hate it and think it sucks despite the fact it is of a rare breed. True TCs of any kind are very rare for games that have such a large amount of things to change.

if time = money
and TCs = -(time+effort)
then TCs = -(money+effort)

Progress is on a Sine curve for a TC. Think about it.

From what I can remember, they actually released some sort of alpha or demo, which was basically, a huge flop. It was a large file which, in the end, contained very little, aside from a big movie that was used for the main screen which practically made the zip unnecessarily large. After that, things seemed to go downhill, with the project leader declaring the project dead, then alive again, and quite a bit of flaming on their forums following their first release.

Just how long has the AOTCTC been around? I believe it was announced before Jedi Outcast.
The answer is maybe.
