That u'll take positively from this past year (2004).

Personally, i'm happy that I didnt lose any family or friends in the Hurricanes, that I became closer with a lot of my family members this year, and that i'm ending this year on a good note :)

What about you all?

Well, I managed not to become even more lonely and depressed. So that's kind of positive.

There's something about giving Massassians my address that would go against better judgement...

Anyway, I think the most positive thing that happened to me in the year of 2004 was my girlfriend and I getting together. It's been close to a year now, and that's quite something to me.

I broke down and bought a few games that I wanted to play. HL2, PoP:WW, and Pirates! among them.

2005 is going to be spent working to financially support my rekindled gaming addiction.

It is a good thing. I think with you, a good thing u can take from this year is that u had the nerve to take a step most people are too afraid to do. U have my respect for doing whatcha' did.

Most thankful for... I finished high school, got a decent job, met some great friends, migraines have subsided, and that's all.

I took a train up to Boston and back alone this summer, by myself for once. It was very relaxing, and awesome. I still get very nostalgic thinking back on it.

Gamewise, internetwise, pretty much everythingwise it was so damn better year than 2003 that it was great. I guess I've forgotten the bad stuff.

  • I lost my other grandfather (15 April 2004, God rest his soul :( )
  • Got drunk for the first (second...third...fourth if you count that one night) time this year.
  • Pulled an 'A' in Software Engineering.

Some good and some bad of 2004. It really hasn't been an exciting year for me.

Camping at and attending the Roskilde Festival 2004, including the bustrip back and forth.
Managing to get into Helsinki University.
Errr... Getting my request to postpone my military service accepted due to university curriculum reforms?
Errr... Love & Anarchy Helsinki International Film Festival?

Pretty good year overall though.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.
