Actor Jerry Orbach is dead.

Jerry Orbach, famous for playing Lieutenant Lenny Briscoe on the hit NBC show "Law And Order", died today from prostate cancer. I don't know if anyone knows who this is or not, but he was a great actor. He will be missed. Post your thoughts here.

He was so cool. :/. Really my favorite character on that show aside from Jack. I'll miss his performance (Well, he'd already left that show). I found out today that he voiced the candel(abra) in Beauty and the Beast (Disney Version)... That's awesome!

I'll be singing "be our guest, be our guest!" all night :D.

I was flipping through the stations on TV earlier today, and stopped on TNT to watch Law and Order for like 5 min, and it went to comercial and there was a message saying "TNT remembers Jerry Orbach 1935-2004"

A man who played a character that I followed for so many years . . . . It ended up just hitting me like a ton of bricks.

Yes, he did. However, it was Patrick Swayze that said the line you quoted.

Not that I've ever seen the movie... or seen it enough times to recognize the lines.

LMAO!

When I saw the thread title the first word out of my mouth was, "Who?" Now, I know, so what? He's dead. Life's a *****, **** happens, and then you die.

yeah I know Patrick Swayze was the one who spoke the line, but he said it to the farth (Jerry Orbach) either way I always liked the movie.

although patrick swayze is blech (not my type) after seeing the previews (not the film itself) for too wongfoo thanks for everything julie numar (or whatever the name was) i'm really turned off by Pat. S. It was just wrong seeing him in drag.

The odd thing with me is, I do like guys that wear makeup. Guys in eyeliner (especially black) it's hottness. Meh maybe it's just patrick swayze in general. he's not attractive, but Dirty Dancing is a good movie [/rant]

I don't watch movies, so I can say "who?", and I agree with Mith, but in the less "I'm a cold *******" way.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Plus he's gettin' kinda old. Not as hot.

It's not obvious that my closest friends are female, is it? :o
