The Strong Brothers


How did Strong Bad get his name? Why is Strong Mad so stupid? Why is Strong Sad so depressed?

A unspecified number of years ago, a man met a woman.
The mans name was William A. Jathon.
He lived in a town somewhere out of free county, and worked at a plumbing company.
He met a woman named Sara M. Lendez who had fancied him for several years.
The man nicknamed her Strong Lend, Strong Lend because she worked for a banking company. She nicknamed him Strong Jack,
because he had to use a jackhammer for one of his plumbing projects when he found out that he had to put new pipes in.
They later had a kid who they named Clancy.
When he was in elementary school, he had lots of anger problems. Because of his parents nicknames, he earned the name Strong Mad. When his anger problems started taking control of his life, he had to dropout of school, because of his fear he would kill someone.
A year after Strong Mad dropped out, they had another kid.
They would name him Justin.
Justin was always causing trouble and getting detentions at school, thus earning him the name Strong Bad.
During one of his detentions that he didn't tell his parents about, Strong Mad came to pick him up. While Strong Mad was waiting, some gang members came and assaulted him, breaking a chair over his head giving him a concussion. The staff members found him, and called the hospital. Due to the severity of his concussion, he would live but he would lose all of his memories and knowledge.
Strong Bads pranks after this became much more meaner, and less funny. He started verbally attacking anyone who he didn't like that came too close to him.
Strong Mad's and Bad's parents had another kid who they would name Theodore. Theodore became very smart and was a straight A student through out school.
Because he was so smart however, other students who were jealous of him started picking on him.
Because they picked on him so much, he was always sad and had a pessimistic outlook on life, earning the name Strong Sad.
Tragedies seemed to follow wherever the brothers Strong went.
Strong Bad and Mad went to jail for assault, and Strong Sad became more and more depressed as the days came by.
Only days after the brothers Strong were reunited with eachother, William and Sara went out to go shopping.
They planned to get somthing for Strong Mad to help him learn better, and some acne cream for Strong Bad because he was complaining about bad acne.
On the way home, a drunk teen went through a red stoplight, straight into William's and Sara's car.
Both were instantly killed and the teen knocked unconcious.
When the brothers Strong were allowed to inspect the wreckage to see if they knew who it was, they found their parents.
Strong Bad discovered something else, a 'one-size-fits-all' wrestling mask and gloves. To this day, he has never taken those two pieces of clothing off in memory of his parents.
They went home and many aday of no talking to eachother commenced.
It wasn't Strong Sad that was hit the hardest, it was Strong Mad.
He loved his parents dearly so, because they had put up with him and his anger problems, encouraging him to learn and to not listen to the other kids that made fun of him for being stupid.
They eventually moved to Free County USA and the rest is history.

Let's see... I've just started on a small project. It is to convert 2D Oxyd levels into 3D pictures. This is what I've done so far:

And Edward, is that a program you're working on that converts 2D to 3D, or something that you did by hand?

Alex is the greatest name ever.

I tried to re-make Morpheus for JA once. But I hadn't played UT in years and couldn't play it then. And I couldn't figure how to make the falling thing work. Oh, yeah, and it looked like crap.

I love it. It was surprisingly simple, I thought it would be a lot harder. It laid down the path when for when I started doing SDL in C++. It's practically the same. I've got to get cracking on my battle system. :p
