Hey guys. I never got into Jedi Academy - kinda got a little overload with Jedi Outcast I suppose.

I was in our local Kmart today and found Jedi Academy re-released under Activision's Essential Collection - for $9.95 Aussie dollars!!! I just had to take it home for that price.

Are they doing the same thing elsewhere?

No clue but I do know of a great sound card bundle that comes with Jedi Academy along with 4 other games for only 100 USD.

Yeah; I picked it up exactly like that a couple months back. Worth it for that price. Not worth the price as new, though.

Of course, every other game stays expensive here for years. Deus Ex 2 is still 80 bucks or something... Ditto Doom 3. Tribes Vengeance is 25 dollars in the USA, still 90 here... And I bet this free trade business won't end up helping the situation, either.

screw Jedi Acadamy, I'd go pick up Jedi Outcast instead, which is far superior. Jedi Acadamy is more like EPII than the original trilogy.

I've been seeing Jedi Outcast in the bargin bin of a few game stores for a while now. $9.99 american.

jedi academy's storyline was so boring. JO is better.

I think JO is better than JK, but that's just me.. It's one of the most underrated games of our time.
