That's only more argument to my cause: Why can't you hold them up now, then? :-P

Maybe Mikus should receive the title of "Naked Snake" or "Solid Snake"....

Oh man, free bandages by shaking these guys down, just what I needed.

I must agree, I really never bothered frisking soldiers in this game. They always gave me useless **** I really had no use for.

WTH? When a topic was made when this game first came out nobody really cared, now all of a sudden everyone starts replying to this thread.

Anyways, enjoyed the game. Going through a second time and shooting for no kills. BTW, for all of you who take the easy way and kill The End either with post-FMV kill or time-changing kill, shame on you. I thought was a really awsome battle and it is fun to hold him up for his camo and stamina kill for his Tranqulizer sniper rifle.

Also, the jail cell is the place to do the funniest things. Give the guard, Johnny Sasaki , spoiled food and listen in on his trip to the bathroom. Pull out the SAA and trying firing it at him or swing your fork at him. Make yourself puke and he will unknowingly let you go. Give the guard 3 food containers (none of them can be spoiled) and he will reveal a surprise that you may recognize from previous Metal Gear Solid titles and also give you something. One more thing, Save your game in the cell, and exit. Load up your saved game and you'll get a nifty Devil may cry style mini game, which turns out to be Snake's nightmare. Beat it and you get free food.
No sig.

....When you fight Ocelot right before the Cave sequence (pre The Pain) and you tranq/stamina kill him isnt he supposed to drop camo somewhere? I cant find it.

I'm going through trying to get 0 kills as well. It's really not too hard. Next go through I'm going to try to get 0 alerts.

It's in the cave that you enter directly after beating him

Perhaps people just received the game for Christmas like I did? How do you give him spoiled food? Don't they take away all of your food?

I think there was an error in my game cause when I was in the cell, I still had all my guns.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

At what point? It's possible to be thrown in the cell more than once, and there are more than one cells. Once time you can be thrown into the first cell (Cell A) is if the end drains all your stamina with the poison darts. You keep all your weapons. The second time you are thrown into a cell (Cell B) is after a particularly unpleasant scene involving a trashbag, a rope, and a lot of blood. You lose all your weapons, food, items, and then some.

But during that cutscene involving the trashbag and lots of blood, if you hold down L2 the entire time you dont take damage.

That's only helpful on Extreme; in the other modes, the damage isn't even worth avoiding. Also, did you notice the extra R1 scenes? There isn't an indicator, you just have to hold it. I held the button during all the cutscenes anyway, because I am familiar with Metal Gear games, and know how these guys like their little secrets. There are a lot of hidden R1 scenes.

The scene with Johnny and where you have the transmitter. It's the part where after you escape you go to the waterfall.

When I beat the game, if I start playing in Extreme Mode do I keep all my camos?
