This is a hard one. All three films are classics. All three have SO MANY great lines, they are all funny as hell, and they are all so freaking awesome!

I vote The Princess Bride.

Not because it's amazazingly funny, but merely because I have watched that movie more times than any other. *groan*

I have to agree with Grismath on voting the Princess Bride. All movies are funny, but Princess Bride Owns.

Why do people love the Princess Bride? I just don't get it. Is it some sort of joke or something, because if anyone puts that down as one of their favorite movies.... When I saw it I laughed at a few places because of how tacky it was and practically fell asleep during some parts.

It's definately a tie between Tights and Grail. Cary Ewles (sp?) is about 50x better in MiT then in PB, which is saying something... :p

(btw, the title of this thread made me "LOL")

The Holy Grail is British Humor at it's best. It's an amazing satire, and it's very silly. This movie has been watched SO many times by everyone, and yet people still laugh during every viewing.

The Princess Bride is the 'classic' kind of humor. It's very funny without being TOO silly. It has many great lines just like the Holy Grail. Plus Billy Crystal is a plus.

Men in Tights doesn't have MANY classic lines, it isn't British Humor but sometimes you wonder. The jokes in it are original, and some of the scenes had me holding my sides laughing.

AHHH! I can't decide.

Monty Python has a bizarre kind of humor, that puts Holy Grail in a class all its own.

Holy Grail >>>>>>>>> Princess Bride > Men in Tights

The Holy Grail.

Burrboy speaks much truth.

And really, Princess Bride was a chickflick last I checked...

No, the style, humor, and fighting is too good for a chick flick.

Holy Grail. PB and MiT aren't anywhere near as funny.

I've never seen Princess Bride, but I'd say Holy Grail > Men in Tights... but only just.

I bed to differ SAJN, Holy Grail is brilliant, yes, and would top my list of those three, but the best of British humour, I think not - it was 20-odd years ago, and times have changed. Check out something like Ricky Gervais live, or Bill Bailey for something that's new and funnier.

Oh, and Massassi; tis a silly place.

I laughed the most at Men in Tights... but Holy Grail is not without it's charm.

I'll prefer Benny Hill any time. Or 'The League of Gentlemen' (not that Sean Connery film, info for non-brits/finns)

Haven't seen Men In Tights, Princess Bride is a parody and quite funny, but the Pythons top all.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

You guys are on crack.
Luckily, I've spent my whole life building a tolerance to crack, so I can answer correctly: The Princess Bride.

Men in Tights

And anyone who quotes constantly from any three of those movies needs to be shot.
