Let's try something new. Basically, the purpose is to "sensationalize" the facts of the above poster. Make the story more interesting and shocking without heavily changing the basic facts. The "facts" are, of course, made up and should be short (and reasonable). For example...

Above poster: A 47 year-old man, dring a Ford pickup truck, accidently hit a 7-year old boy. The boy is in stable condition at the hospital.

The story is made-up. So, to "add interest and attention" to this story...

Below poster: A middle-aged man, around 47, collided his massive Ford vehicle into an innocent, young pedestrian, a 7-year old child, in a scene which the man believed "was an accident." The boy's life had altered so quickly for the worse due to sheer negligence and irresponsibility of just one driver. The child battled his failing condition and found hope to live his normal life once again at the local hospital after undergoing intensive treatment in the emergency room.

Got the point? Be creative. Hopes this works.

My facts: A firefighter rescued a 5-month old baby from the top floor of a burning apartment building. Everyone who lived in the building survived the incident as well.

Whee, this sounds fun!

A man claiming to be a firefighter broke into an apartment complex on Tuesday, abducting a 5-month old baby from an apartment on the top floor. Police say they have been unable to identify the man, however the baby was returned to its parents shortly thereafter.

The incident occurred during a fire in the building, which sources say may have caused enough confusion for the alleged firefighter to slip into the apartment unnoticed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

There were no casualties reported as a result of the blaze.

Now for my facts: A cop shot a bank robber in the leg during a bank robbery. The robber was trying to get away with $1000 and a hostage. There were also two other robbers involved who got away.

A suspected crooked cop was responsible for the death of seven people today when he shot a grenade hanging from a bank robber's leg. The man was attempting to get away with $1000 in unmarked US currency, with which he planned to hire his boss killed. The hostage was obliterated by the fiery blast and has, as of yet, not been identified. The robber's face was found across the street in Central Park. It had landed in a wedding cake during a couple's reception. The couple was unavailable for comment.

My facts: A man ran down the sidewalk to avoid being caught by 6 large men wearing striped shirts. He was eventaully run over by a trolly while trying to cross the tracks.

On a side note, this is the best idea I have seen in a long time.

Six members of the Brazillian football team were injured today while riding on a public trolley to practice. They were riding on the trolley, in standard green striped uniform, when the trolley was hijacked by terrorists attempting to flee NSA agents. One terrorist was accidently ran over by his own allies. The remaining terrorists were severely kicked by the football players and thrown from the trolley.

Facts: A man is discovered living on a previously thought uninhabited island, and survived by eating fish and wild fruit. He has no recollection of how he arrived or how long he has been there.

Two weeks ago a commercial pilot of FedEx, whose cargo flight disappeared nearly three years ago, was found living on a small Island 4300 km east from Manila, Philippines. The Japanese whalers, who rescued the castaway, told reporters the pilot had no recollection of the circumstances that had led him to the isolated, previously uncharted island, or how long he has been living there. According to the pilot, he had survived by fishing with a handmade spear and eating all kinds of wild fruits. According to this real life survivor, the only thing missing were a few cans of beer every now and then.

EDIT:
A pet shop owner was found dead in his store with multiple snake bite wounds. Some cash was found missing in the cash register. Police suspects crime.
