I just moved from IE to FireFox... and I actually like it now!

I had FireFox before, and have had it for the latest version up to 0.9 or whatever it was that was last before 1.0, and never liked it at all... but now I love it... especially with the "LittleFox" theme... that's one reason I still used IE, was because I could have all the toolbars on one line, and keep screen usage to a minimum, and this theme does pretty much just what i need it to, except merge the navigation/address bar and the menu bar to the same line.

Didn't mean to start yet another thread about FireFox, but I felt it was worth mentioning since it was all of you that convinced me to do it, although it wasn't really intended, just from reading threads with you guys talking about it.

RIght now I've got

AdBlock
Tabbrowser Preferences
Nuke Anything
BugMeNot
Linkification
and Download Statusbar

As my current extensions, anything else that comes highly recommended for an average user? (I would use mouse gestures, but it's too much of a pain for me with my touchpad on my laptop, and I would only use it to go back a page, which I can use backspace for, so it's just as easy for me without it, so please don't suggest it)

Anyways, other than that, feel free to discuss your FireFox experiences, conversions (people you've converted, etc...) and whatever other stories you may have.

Thanks again!

What's an RSS Feed? I may visit some and not know it... although I suppose since I don't know the term it's not that likely.

I like FoxyTunes and WeatherFox.

Firefox > IE

There's no question about it. Even the margin on the left side of the screen that IE has pisses me off now.

When I DO use IE, it's only to go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com which ironically enough only works in IE.

Yoshi, it works on Firefox for me. Maybe you have a plugin you need to download.

EDIT: Never mind, I tried doing the scan and it didn't work for me either.

You need quicktime, and/or realplayer.

I have problems with both. Quicktime straight out sucks, and Real Player plugin times out if I stream something very long. I don't have that problem with Real Player itself, just the plugin.
