and i think ryan reynolds would be awesome as ash, since bruce campbell is both way too old and doesnt want to do any more evil dead. i think he would sound awesome saying the cheesy lines ash says if they keep his character like the ones in 2 and 3. plus he's just plain awesome in every movie he's in, just like campbell.

Where did you get that from? The latest news I read (rumor sites all over, comingsoon.net, etc.) was that Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi can't wait to get started on the next Evil Dead flick.

I'd like to see Keanu Reeves as Ash for comedic level. I'd then scrape out my eyes with the pain I had just endured.

The Evil Dead doesn't sound like Evil Dead 4.

if he doesnt want to do another evil dead movie, doing a remake of the first shouldnt be any different. campbell isnt a sellout. in fact he denies roles from big hollywood production companies. he's a B action movie star, and the only roles he's had are small cameos in the big movies(just cause raimi directed spiderman), and a character on xena. so he's not gonna just say okay if he gets a lot of money to do it.

unless raimi changed his mind somehow, he's not gonna be it.

and he is too old. period. he cant hang around other teenagers and realistically other people his age want to water ski and play horseshoes and other boring crap. not like teenagers.

Bruce Campbell made Ash. No one could play Ash the way he did. If they can't get him, I don't really see a point.

Its like a Die hard without Bruce Willis.... oh sure the SOB is old but I still want him kicking someone's *** in those movies.

Same thing holds true for the other Bruce. I mean BC has done some voice work on the Evil Dead Video games and he should at least be in the movie (even if he isn't Ash). Though really why re-make a classic that was already pretty good? I would like to see a real sequel this time around.
