Plotting the iterate of f(x) to indicate fixed points

To demonstrate the period-2 behaviour of the graph at mu = 3.2, the program P2.ppr plots the graph g(x) = f(f(x)). The same basic layout is used as for the logistic map program, except that in the section of code that draws the curve (labelled ‘graph’), y = funct(funct(x, mu), mu); is used instead of y = funct(x, mu);, so that the equation is performed twice on x.

yeah, more boring dissertation stuff

Well, you could. after all, there are FOUR of him in the game, though it only happens that there are two instances of Max; three of them comprise the second sighting...

For some reason, that site's Morrowind section lacked "The Captain's Guide to the Fishy Stick." I tried to submit it, but it claimed that there were too many Easter Eggs already being processed at the same time. It was an enexpected nod to a joke on the forum... I'd post a link to the web site that explains it, or even post the original image, but the webstie that carries it is down for the moment...

[edit: found a copy of the image; enjoy]

(I was fiddling arround with the post in order to attach an image, and forgot that you have to make a new post to put an image in it if it didn't already, so I copied my original post, deleted it, and posted most of it into a new one, and attached the image)

I wanted to get a part time job between handing my dissertation in and my exams, and I wanted something involving

talking to Lrody, I was rambling and he said something I wanted to reply to, so I cut what I was saying, said something else, then pasted and carried on...

Actually your name was in my clipboard... I have no idea why.
