Does anyone else watch this show... tonight's episode was... intense, it almost had me in tears at the end.

I'm still struck by it, wow.

SPOILER WARNING

.

.

.

.

I couldnt believe Jack actully did it. He blew Chappelle's brains out. I would've figured they would have held that off to the next ep.

Does anyone know if Michelle survives?

It really sucks, I kinda liked Chappelle.

I'm fairly certain Michelle is immune as she's practically the only one not bleeding, and they've already killed TWO CTU people now, not just Gael or whatever but also Ryan Chappelle now, and they only tend to kill off one running member per season (Jack's Wife, George Mason, and now Chappelle).

Earlier in the season we were led to believe that Tony Almeida would be the one to go, but that was obviously not it just because it was waaay too early.

The Salazars are dead. Ramone killed his brother, then he himself was killed when the 'British dude' double-crossed him.

I wonder how many more seasons they can keep the show going. They're running out of feasable doomsday terrorism plots.

Next season: the President (newly elected Larry Ellison) stubs his toe on a terrorist-placed cinderblock, plunging the CTU into a global manhunt for a 80-year-old brick worker...

I read somewhere on some site that there would be 3 main characters killed off this season. 1) Gael 2) Chappelle 3) Michelle? Kim? Please let it be Chloe.

All those hotel people dead (or at least dying)!
Totally makes up for the dissapointing nuke in season two that only killed the one guy in the plane.

This season is odd.. In the others, pretty much everything took place in or around L.A, but in this one it seems that the bad guy isn't in the US at all (with the other blokey saying that the virus might spread outside the Americas).. Britain is the obvious option, but how is Jack going to get the bad guy if he's in another country (or at least one that's further away than Mexico)?
Without Concorde it's going to take about 9 hours to fly to Britain..
This one is certainly interesting..

Also I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last season ever.. This one seems to be so 'extreme', with such a high deathtoll, that there's no way they could top it and remain vaguely realistic..

Edit: Oh also.. Was this episode aired early, as it was replaced by Bush's speech, so there'll be another episode this week (Tuesday? Wednesday?)? Or has everything been pushed back a week?
