Well, as long as this doesn't distract the public from his policies. But, 1 billion is indeed alot.

Well, it's an "aid package" so that doesn't necessarily mean cash. Still a very significant contribution but am I on the only one that's deeply concerned with all of this knee-jerk aid? Not that people don't need help and that money shouldn't flow their way. But how it flows, what it pays for, and who gets it is a very serious concern.
