I brought up australia because we have had nationwide seatbelt laws for a long time and very rarly had people killed as a direct result of wearing a seatbelt unless the seatbelt was flawed, improperly used or the accident was so bad, anyone not wearing a seatbelt would have had no chance of survival.

so in other words, I was showing how australia is just different to the U.S. also, you say you know how governments set the safty standards for seatbelts. Do you know those standards for every nation. If you do, post them right on this thread with the source. if not, then shut up.

If you need proof to know that an accident that causes death for a person that is using a safty device will definately kill someone not using that safty device, you are very ignorant and don't think outside the box.
