Changing icons
2004-04-20, 9:02 AM #1
Okay, this is so simple and stupid question etc.

But is there any free/etc. program which can be used to change icons of files (and programs, and system icons)? The ones the files/programs/etc. use, and the ones that are inside the files/programs/etc.

I hope I was clear enough...

...but any help? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

You can change file icons with the file association dialog, but youll have to use a resource editor to change the program's icons.

Hmm, I'm going to test some things soon, but I have this program "FSM32.exe", and inside of it there's 7 icons, the blue FSecure icon with some marks on it... and I want to change one of the icons. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Yeah, I was sort of joking. Like, "when you ask computer questions, why do you expect us to assume you're using windows?" [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] Yeah yeah, 90% of people use windows, but that's still 10/100 that don't.
