There are some legal free full games out there. Most of the ones I've tried are pretty good oldr titles.

Well of course. This is why Deus Ex is the #1 FPS, and not Doom 3 (or HL2 if that is your graphical fancy) and StarCraft >>> WC3

One Must Fall: 2097 is freeware. And it's spanktacular even without being freeware. I think Tyrian is too.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

That was seriously stupid to post, Mech. I mean it IS you, but still...

Anyways, I think you're seeing DEMOS Gold. Not full versions of games. Though FilePlanet does have that Direct2Disk program, it's not free (unless it's an offer when you sign up).
