Do any of you think there will be a JK4?

if they do here is what they should do right:

more vehicles
a bobbafett boss!
new lightsaber styles
better weapons (have you seen that lightning gun? talk about crappy!):mad:

they had vehilces in JA, they had new stances in JA, they had vehicles in JA, they had good weapons in JA. If you can't take out someone with the concussion rifle, you suck.

There's a cheat that gives you hidden lightsaber styles in JA.

Boba Fett WAS a boss in JA... and I don't recall seeing anything wrong with it. In fact I enjoyed that I had to use weapons against him instead of using a lightsaber all the time.

The mod community has provided more than enough vehicles, imo... and as for SP vehicles, sorry but this is no Halo, nor is it Rogue Squadron... :/

I agree the weapon selection could be better. The DF Assault Cannon needs a comeback! I liked the DF concussion rifle best out of all the designs too.

They should make a Dark Forces 2 first.

And I mean a real Dark Forces 2. No Jedi.

Why do all these star wars FPS have to be focused on one thing in particular?

I mean how come theres only Jedi style FPS and military/mercenary type FPS for Star Wars?

Can't they just make some type of system that can use all of whats cool about Star Wars?

of course I'm talking from a multiplayer point of view, a singleplayer star wars FPS would require more RPG elements but I'm sure a feasible multiplayer (not MMORPG but FPS) can be worked out. So far we have Battlefront, however it does lack lightsaber duels and the force, then theres the fact that all the battles there are just recreations of the movies (a good and bad thing).

What i want to see is a blend of the military/mercenary type shooter with Jedi. The problem with the JK series (especially recently) is the arcade manner in which the force is handled and the almost outragous moves the jedi can pull off, all the tension from the deuls in the movies are gone as well as the only way to balance out the gunners is to make them move and act arcade like as well. Sure this was fun when I was younger but now I want a little more depth in my battles. The combination would be like if they combined the tactics and pace of the Rainbow Six series with the deadly dueling option of Bushido Blade (though much more robust) and then we can finally have a good solid DarkForces/Jediknight game. The on foot action of the game has to be perfected first before we start to add vehicles (a mistake we saw in Comand&Conquer Renegade).

I rather liked JA and JO...

JO was decent, except Nar Shadda.

I did enjoy JA more than JO.

Nar Shadda had too many snipers, they got you everytime.

I never did beat that game. I could never get passed Maul on level 5. Then I made a big mistake and sold my PS1 and games. I've been wanting to play it again for a long time.

The dreamcast version was way better (not just in graphics but the controls were tighter and alot of the anoying jumping puzzles were taken out + Darth maul with double bladed lightsaber as a secret character).

BTW if any of you have been to Lucasforum's JA room you'll know what I mean. But for the record, LEC has stated that JA is not JK3. And it's good too, because it was an awful game.
