When you start to glow like that, it means you should start spending less time in front of your computer.

Dunlop Tortex's cause way too much premature breakage. I suggest using a thinner bodied one, you dont have to worry about breakage and you get more sensation and life out of everything involved.

Seriously, I was buying a pack of Elixirs a week when I was using the Dunlop Tortex's, those are $15 a pack... well, $8 with my "dealer" but still. I have since switched to the thinner nylons.

Hmmm, i've been using a range of dunlop tortex's, from the purples down to the oranges and i've literally never broken a string. I tend to use 9s or 10s.

I think it's probably just because I play VERY HARD, like there's scratches all over my guitars from where the picks gouge into them.

I have a guitar like that too. That's why I switched to lighter picks. Of course, now I've switched back and just took the guage of my strings up a notch. I had 8s, now I use 9s, and they sound better, too.

Anyone wanna buy my new 8s? I have 2 unopened packages.

This reminds me of one of my friends. He moved up north (to PA) and after starting school, saw several people who looked exactly like me and a couple of our other friends, except their personalities were exactly opposite from ours.
It's amazing because it's more than just one or two people he's talking about here -- it's maybe 4 or 5, that look just like us and act completely different.

[edit] I guess you know PA is in the US right? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] No need to specify that if you know.
