Just curious about them, because i'm trying to get something other than dial-up. I think my only option is Cable.

We pay nothing for our service. I like it that way. It's a rather confusing story as to why though.

I pay between $70-75 per month for a 26400-28800 connection. Broadband is unavailable here, besides satellite, which is even worse for gaming than my dialup connection. At least with my poor connection I can still play JK/MotS and WoW. My internet bill is really only around $15-16, but this is a dedicated internet phone line, and we live in a rural area where the ISP's (Bellsouth) server is long-distance, thus we must subscribe to the Area Calling Plan, which is an additional $40 a month, on top of the the standard line. What third world country do I live in, you ask? The US of A.

Their Internet service is excellent, but their TV channel selection isn't as varied as with ExpressVu.

Dunno exactly, but I think it's a little more than £20 for 1Mbps uncapped.

How are you all getting $10/mo. for cable???

We have to dish out $40/mo in addition to the cable bill (which is all ready way overpriced).

$0. My college supplies my internet. It's sucky tho... they block all gaming for one thing, and they reserve the right to monitor your internet activities for another (at least the websites you visit). Only reason why I put up with it is because I get it for free.

$21.95 for DSL, 1536 Kbps downstream, 384 Kbps upstream. Plus all that free stuff from Yahoo that I mentioned in another thread.

I wish I had my church's DSL connection: 14 MB/s. Yes... Megabytes. I downloaded a 28 MB video in 2 seconds.... and it was glorious.

Until I can afford that kind of connection, I'm not putting anything else into the donation plate. :p

One of the leaders works for the phone company, and personally installed the DSL. Perhaps a discount? Or perhaps an oversight on the part of the phone company. In either case, I need to use their computer more often.

I didn't know 14 MB/s was possible, let alone available for free (or a good rate at least) at a Church. And how can it be DSL? I didn't think you could get anywhere near that with cable, let alone DSL?

Yea, what's with churches and fast internet connection?
I knew some kid once who like spent the night at his church downloading tons of crap because the internet connection was T-something.
