Hooray! Hurrah! I got a date for Sat-urday!

Hehe. I'm taking a friend out for dinner and ice skating. Ice skating rink is about 30 miles away in Jeffeson City, so we'll have a nice long drive to talk. She says she doesn't want a serious relationship, as she just broke one off last month. But that's fine with me, cause I got a date! Hurray!

A few more, and you may be able to mark me off the "Single" list.

Um, shoot. I should've blogged this. No, wait! Massassi: if I were to go on another, where should we go? We can't go ice skating every time. ;)

Laser tag rocks for dates, unless your date is too "prissy" for it.
I recommend not going to a movie until after a few interactive dates. If she likes games, go to a public arcade. Carnivals are nice, if you have anything like that.

Find out what her favorite things to do are on your first date, and take her to do something she likes for a second.

Pool (like PW said) is my favorite thing to do on dates. Bowling is really popular here, but I'm not a huge fan. Luckily, though, my g/f and I usually go bowling, then we'll play in the arcade for a bit, then go across the street to get coffee then play some pool.

In the summer time here in Arlington, it can reach as high as 105.

And you can go ice skating.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Do something spontaneous, like have a picnic in a sporting goods store (near/in a tent); watch a movie in the "surround sound" area of a department store (with pre-approval); pre-burn a mix and then have a dance in the electronics section at Wal-Mart; etc

Sorry for the revival, but I had a moment of panic earlier. I don't know where to go for dinner! I was thinking maybe Red Lobster or Outback Steakhouse. Massassi! Help me please. I don't want to do a "fun" dinner just yet. I want to go someplace nice that we can both enjoy. I will take any and all suggestions. Columbia and Jefferson City have all the major chains, which are probably a safe bet. I don't know of any local restaurants that aren't just pubs or bars. I need advice.

Alright, panic averted. I should be ok. I think I found a nice place that's mediterranian/italian. Review said it had a "romantic setting." We'll see I guess. Lucky for me, she said she's not picky as long as it isn't sushi. :D

Thanks guys.

Ah the temptation for the "This is the room of those who care" image is sooooo bad :D

Anyway, you'll hold out. Good luck. :D

Yea, laser tag is suprisngly fun for dates.
You'd think it would be one of those 'meh' things, but the competition of shooting each other really gets things going :p
(Yes, you have to loose, too :))
